Hi, I’m Spencer Jensen, a South Bay artist by way of Chicago. My work explores perspective, interconnectedness, and what it means to be fully present. Through vibrant color, layered texture, and recurring ocean imagery, I create spaces that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

My practice is rooted in what I call creative terroir—the idea that every piece carries a distinct sense of place, time, memory, and lived experience. I draw inspiration from the ocean, community, and the overwhelming beauty of the natural world. I create intuitively, allowing emotion and materials to guide the work, while inviting viewers to slow down, feel something, and find their own meaning within it.
